Jan Karlsson presented at the H2O Conference in Halifax on 7 June 2018. The two senior consultants discuss how the Ocean Industries faces potential threats from cyber-attacks to no less a degree than onshore industries. However, there threats have more often been overlooked when it comes to maritime operations, despite the fact that the security of operational, informational and communication networks/technologies and their data are just as critical. This presentation considers maritime cybersecurity awareness in the context of the ocean sector.
